Alternatives

Because of different circumstances that could occur in the performance we have created a number of alternatives for the performance purposes:

Q. If it were to rain on our performance?
A. We would perform in the Grand Arcade instead.

Q. If somebody wasn't to turn up to the performance?
A. Somebody would have to change there instrument to fill in for the missing person.

Q. If the can with the musical instruments broke down what would happen?
A. We would have to find alternatives such as sorting out a different way for out instruments to be taken down to town.

Samba Video

I chose this video because I feel that is represents Samba well, and is based in the traditional way of performance. I feel that this shows the atmosphere of which the samba should be played in and shows the amazing outcome of how many people can be used in the music.
This video shows a large number of people performing the samba in a stadium, and many different types of musical instruments are being used to form a rhythm. Samba is a traditional form of creatin music throughout a different range of people and instruments. This video is showing a large quantity of people performing a samba band, but Samba can also be create from much fewer people and instruments. This video advertsing the fun in taking part in the mucical enviroment and shows and it also appeals the Samba to its viewers. As this video is showing a large number of people at a festival you can see the way in which the audience are enjoying the music from all the sreaming and cheering they are showing.

Campaign day reflection

The planning of my campaign was to go around college searching for an audience that would be interested in my campaign. This idea was delayed because of the weather condition which only allowed me to get a small number of signatures for the petition plan.
Although the weather disturbed the number of signatures i collected, i felt that i had achieved an average amount of signatures in comparison with other candidates in my class. Because of the weather conditions my plan to advertise the campaign changed, although this happened i tried to provide the best possible outcome of it. The positioning of my advertising changes and was set inside the college as there were a small number of people outside because of the weather.

When i later look at my petition, i will be recording the result and finding out if it has been a successful campaign, i will also use comparisons between other campaigns that have been created.

Plan for todays campaigning



1. The overall plan for todays lesson is to produce a petition for my specific campaign "Free music downloads". I will be locating myself around the college grounds, asking a number of people if they agree with my campaign and will join it. This process will take roughly around an hour and a half, in this time i will be explaining to people the reasons for joining my campaign and the benefits it would have on them.

2. Throughout the advertising of my campaign i will be using leaflets, poster and will also be discussing the campaign to them in person. These method will be used to attract my target audience and will give them more interest about the campaign.

3. To make today successful i feel that i will have to get around 10 to 15 petitions, this will give me a good number of people to join the petition and will give the campaign a good attraction for other people that are interested.
